Ligare is Latin for "bind" which indicates Ligare's origins as a bindery to the printing industry. In 1979 Richard Celarc, Ligare's current Executive Chairman, was one of the founding partners of the bindery in Sydney. Over the subsequent 30 years one building grew to five buildings joined together, and one case-binding line grew to a plant which now offers:
Today Ligare is still growing, and are located on Auckland's North Shore. The Ligare Digital Print Facility has now been established in a new space in the main plant with an increased digital printing and binding soltuions capacity.
We have a dedicated team of highly experienced staff with a proactive, can-do attitude. Our New Zealand team has been in the book printing and binding industry for many years and are capable of handling even the most difficult requirements.
